We Have A Vision...

Pickford Cybersecurity is dedicated to becoming the leading hub for information technology and computer-based education in the Eastern Upper Peninsula (EUP). Our state-of-the-art cybersecurity lab offers a diverse range of courses, from advanced cybersecurity programs to introductory classes, alongside an innovative STEM curriculum for elementary students. We also provide a comprehensive digital media education platform, nurturing creativity and technical skills. In addition, our dynamic after-school E-Sports program engages students in competitive gaming while fostering teamwork and strategic thinking. Our robust work-study program allows students to gain hands-on experience by repairing computers, setting up electronics, managing the classroom environment, and mentoring younger students who utilize the lab. Through these initiatives, we aim to cultivate the next generation of skilled professionals in the ever-evolving field of technology.

Recycle Day

The Pickford Cybersecurity class is pleased to report that our 3rd annual Recycle Day was a great success! We were thrilled to recycle over $1000 worth of items. This achievement would not have been possible without the fantastic support of our community and our continued partnership with Reina's Recycling.

Our cybersecurity students, along with Reina's Recycling and the 4-H Tech Changemakers for Pickford, were on hand at the parking lot behind the Pickford Town Hall on May 2nd to accept a variety of technology, including computers, TVs, gaming consoles, and mobile phones. Many community members also had their questions about eco-friendly recycling and good recycling practices answered.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to everyone in the community who participated and to Reina's Recycling for their invaluable help in making the world greener.
