Mrs. Turner

I spent five wonderful years as the elementary secretary at Pickford School, and during that time, I truly fell in love with helping kids. It was such a rewarding experience that it inspired me to go back to school and follow my dream of becoming a teacher. By February 2024, I was so proud to earn my Bachelor’s Degree in Education, and a year later, I completed my Master’s Degree in Education in February 2025.

In my classroom, we focus on Social Studies, enrichment activities, and all things STEAM. I’m always excited to keep learning myself, which is why I’ve taken special training in programs like IXL. Most importantly, I want my classroom to feel like a big, caring family where students feel safe, loved, and inspired—because I believe learning is about more than just worksheets and tests; it’s about growth, curiosity, and connection.

Mrs. Ennes and I are co-teachers for the 6th graders. We keep things real and have a great time in the classroom together. We help them navigate the middle school life.

I love the cold of winter but live in the water in the summertime. You will catch my family and I at the beaches across the UP all summer long.
