The PTO's Annual Fall Fundraiser had their kickoff today with all K-5 students.
Materials will be coming home with your student TODAY! The sale will end on October 9th and products will be delivered the week of November 6th.
We strongly encourage our families to register for online sales through a very user-friendly website that Club’s Choice offers called THE CLUBHOUSE.
All online sales will flow through The Clubhouse and by registering and doing much of the fundraiser online, you can take orders from friends, family, neighbors and co-workers and not have to worry about collecting money and even delivering in some cases. We will have traditional order forms available to use and you would collect a check or cash with these “ship to school” orders.
You can very easily register for online sales by texting our School Code PICK23 to 74590 and follow the link or go to the Website at www.clubschoicefundraising.com/register and enter our School Code PICK23.
We have many prizes to reward our hard-working Pickford families. Be sure and check out the Prize Flyer and Parent Letter included with your packet. ALSO, the top 10 sellers will get to pie Mr. Rairigh at a special assembly in November!
We really do appreciate your participation in this fundraiser- we couldn't do it without YOU!

4th, 5th, & 6th Grade *Updated* Flag Football Game Schedule
ATTN FLAG FOOTBALL PARENTS: PRACTICE WILL BE DONE AT 4:30 P.M. TODAY. THANK YOU!
Starting on Monday, September 18th there will be a road closure on M-48 between Fairview Rd and Hanna Rd. During this closure some bussing times for Mr. Crimin's route will change. Please expect a call from Mr. Crimin if your pick up time will be changed.
Detour information from the Chippewa County Road Commission: The official posted detour route has been designed for commercial trucking: southbound truck traffic should use M-129 to M-134 OR the Gogomain Road around to M-48 in Goetzville, while west or northbound truck traffic coming from the Drummond/Detour area should stay on M-134. This is a long detour (approx. 30 miles) and as such, we do anticipate that locals will be creative finding other ways to avoid this closure, most likely via Sand Ridge/26 Mile or the Swede Road through Mackinac County.

Hi from the newest Pickford elementary teacher, Elizabeth Nelson!
I am very excited to be teaching 5th grade this year alongside Mrs. Brood. You may know me from being a Panther parent, seeing me as a substitute teacher, or at a PTA meeting. Prior to living in Pickford, I taught first grade in Dearborn Heights and English Language Learners in the Grand Rapids area. I attended Michigan State University for my Elementary Education degree and Purdue Calumet University for my Masters in Education Administration. In Pickford, I have spent my time forming a community for moms through MOPS/MOMS next. I love to enjoy family time, read and dance as much as I can. I’m looking forward to serving the community through this new role.
Go Panthers!
Hello Panthers,
I am James Norman, the new High School Social Studies and World History teacher. I am a graduate of Calvin University, where I earned my bachelor's degree in History and Social Studies Secondary Education. History has always been to me one of the most beautiful ways to see the world and I am excited to share that experience with students in the coming years. I am also an avid choral singer. Between singing and university I have had the good fortune of doing some world travel, including singing the mass in the St. Peter's Basilica, living in Budapest, Hungary for a semester, and going to the tallest waterfall in Croatia, as pictured here. Already I have loved getting to know these students; sharing stories about Dungeons and Dragons, PC gaming and history Youtubers.
Thank you all for the support and warm welcome I have received.
Friendly Reminder: Today, September 8th is a 1/2 day of school. All students will be dismissed at 12 Noon. Have a great weekend.
