Mrs. Reintsma
The 24/25 school year is Mrs. Reintsma’s 3rd year at Pickford Elementary and her 4th year as a classroom teacher. Prior to earning her Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education, she worked in education as a paraprofessional for 15 years.
Mrs. Reintsma was born in the UP, but moved often as a child, living in Germany, the Lower Peninsula, Alaska, and then spent 30 years in Colorado, before coming full circle back to the fabulous UP!
In 1996, she received her Bachelors of Science in Biological Sciences and Neurology from Colorado State University. Then in 2020, she completed her Masters in Early Childhood Education, also from CSU.
She has experience teaching kindergarten, 2nd, and 4th grades, as well as support staff in K-8 general education classrooms, resource and Special Education classrooms.
