Welcome to Fourth Grade!
I've been teaching at Pickford for several years now, and I can say Panthers are the best! I have extensive experience teaching grades 3-6 in New York, Chicago, Detroit, and the Upper Peninsula. All of my experience was wonderful, but I am most at home here in the U.P.
I LOVE fourth graders. My goal is to help them grow during the year they are with me, and to help them love school.
A little about me:
Family: I'm happily married to my high school sweetheart. Joshua and Jacob are my sons. Billy and Addisyn are my step-children. The boys no longer live at home, but we get Addie regularly and she will quickly become friends with our fourth graders!
School: I graduated from Valparaiso University with a Bachelors in Music Education. I also hold three Master's Degrees in Education. Being a teacher means you are a lifelong learner. <3
Pets: It is no shock that I love chickens! I wasn't raised in a rural area, but once I started with chickens up here, I haven't turned back. I also have two Border Collies, Nate and Dave. In addition, we have six cats.
