I hope you will continue to encourage your children to exercise their brains over the next few weeks. Because not everyone has internet access, work is not mandatory. With that said, I am going to provide you with resources to use at home, if you are able, to continue to help your child progress and practice the skills they have already learned.

I will be posting some math challenges and videos to reinforce our learning that we have already done in math so far this year. These are optional for students, but are encouraged.

They can also continue to work on the following sites, as we have done  in class. Please note that the majority of these sites require your child to log in with their Google account information. If you need help with this, please let me know, but most kids should have no trouble accessing their accounts.

Account usernames are generally: lunchnumber@eupschools.org . Then each child has their unique password.

    Sites we use:

    www.khanacademy.org (math support)

www.readworks.org (reading support) optional assignments will be listed in their accounts. PLEASE NOTE, SOME STUDENTS HAVE LATE WORK THEY NEED TO COMPLETE ON THIS SITE. This would be an excellent opportunity for them to catch up!

https://classroom.google.com/u/3/c/NDA5MDEwNjk0NDha . This is the link to our Google classroom. If they wish, students may continue to work on their government reports. I will check in daily to offer them assistance through the comments (they are accustomed to this process).

https://www.spellingcity.com/Log-yourself-in.html . Some students have late work in their Spelling City accounts. This is a great time to catch up!

Students also should have brought home books to read in order to continue growing both fluency and comprehension. I encourage them to set aside a little time each day so they don't lose their awesome progress that they have made in the past few months.

If you have any questions whatsoever, please let me know. I'm happy to help you.
