The full amount of tuition may not be covered under Dual Enrollment laws.  Charges in excess of the amount paid by the district will be billed directly to the student.  To receive detailed information about billing, contact the business office at 647-6285.  IT IS THE STUDENT’S RESPONSIBILITY TO DROP CLASSES.  FAILURE TO DROP BEFORE WITHDRAWAL DEADLINES OR FAILURES OF A CLASS WILL RESULT IN STUDENTS COVERING ANY/ALL COSTS.  Students who drop dual enrollment classes at any time during the semester MUST report to the high school for the entire school day.

After returning this form and your college dual enrollment form to your high school counselor, your high school schedule will be changed to include dual enrollment courses.  All must be completed no later than the 1st week of the semester.

Students may elect to take college courses while still in high school to earn both high school and college credit.  In these cases, when the student qualifies, these courses are taken as a part of the student’s regular schedule.  The Postsecondary Enrollment Options Act directs high schools to assist students in paying tuition (up to a defined limited amount defined by the State of Michigan) for college courses while enrolled in high school.  Eligible students must have achieved a qualifying score on the PLAN, PSAT, or ACT assessments as identified for each content area in the table below:
