Fifth GradeNewest Pacing Guide Format: LACRT members have finalized the consolidated pacing guides for K-8 Language Arts. We have broken the guides into four quarters, and combined the reading and writing components into one document. In addition, we have connected the new Common Core State Standards to our current GLCEs to help you meet changing requirements. Your comments and feedback would be helpful as we work to meet your needs for this pacing guide structure. (email@example.com)As you check out these resources, keep in mind that they contain the original pacing guide materials you will find elsewhere on the page for each grade. There may be some new additions, but this structure provided is designed to give you a starting point for your instruction. It is not an exhaustive list of everything you would do throughout the year. In addition, the Common Core State Standards will require major revisions in what, and how, we teach, so these materials are provided to help you begin this transition. The LACRT members will be determining what tools our webpage will provide in the future to meet the CCSS and help you pace your curriculum.
